Lullaby "Though I was young, I'd experienced something in my life, that for a 16-year-old, was really difficult to bear; it was a huge heartache for me. As a result, I felt unwanted and betrayed, and I looked to God for comfort. Then I thought of how God might sing me a song to ease my hurt, a sort of lullaby of peace...what would He say to me? I felt in my heart that He would call me child, that He would tell me how much He loves me, and that He would gently kiss my crying eyes. God's comfort and peace was as gentle as a lullaby. I wanted to share it with my friends, so that they would be reminded of God's fatherly love for them, so I wrote it all down...." -Em- |
