No Greater Love "Simply put, this song was inspired by the movie 'The Passion of the Christ.' I was moved remembering my Savior's suffering. I wanted to somehow get the 'gospel' into a single song so I could sing it at the high school talent show and share the message with the whole school. I was too shy to say it all in words to one stranger at a time, but if could just sing it! So that's how the song came about. I labored over it for weeks at the piano asking the advice of family and friends, until it was completed. I sang it at the talent show and won first place, but my hope is that it struck a chord with somebody listening." -Em- |
